BUD THE BUNNY

Bud the Bunny, my first children's picture book is now available at lulu.com.

Since Bud didn't fit the requirements for a distribution agreement, you won't find him in brick & morter stores like Border's or Barnes & Noble, or even online sellers like Amazon.com.

Bud the Bunny is exclusively sold through the lulu.com wbesite, and in person, at any event Fan Done attends. Free Bud the Bunny bookmarks to those that get their Bud in person from Fan Done!

So, buy a Bud!

Buy 2 Buds: one to keep, one to give away!

Buy 3 Buds: read one, give one away, keep one until Kirean is world-famous and then sell that first edition on eBay for much money!

LOST MONTH

Wow - October already. 0_0;

So, September was a lot of headaches, like every day. My neurologist has told me there is little Western medicine can do for me, since I'm so sensitive to drugs. I've been referred to a headache specialist, and will see him in Mid-October. Funny thing, he's the guy my nurse friends said I should see back in February - it's taken me this long to work my way through the system to get the correct referrals to get on his calendar, but at least he's local and I know I can trust him.

Found some info online that I'm going to try, and the past week was actually much better than the rest of the month. Headaches on a scale of 1-3 every day, compared to 5-9. I consider a 10 going to the emergency room, and I haven't had to do that yet, although I've come close.

Still related to barometric pressure, as any day below 30 is a 1-2 headache day. The feverfew takes the edge off, but it is not the blissful headache-free effect I had the initial week I took it. Advil and caffeine also do their part, although I've been caffeine-free for over a week. Trying to keep the Starbucks bill down a bit, as well as the blood pressure.

And I've bought a digital scale so I can obsess about my weight more accurately. This is the first time in my life I've found myself eating when I'm not hungry. I eat when my head hurts as a distraction from the pain, and have gained weight. Enough for it to be unacceptable to me, and so I'm also watching my carb intake these days, which is another reason to cut back on the Starbucks chais.

RECAP
Beginning of Sept was AnimeFest. First anime con I've been to in a long time and money was spent in the dealer's room, so it was a good thing we only went on Sunday.

Middle of Sept was a contract opportunity that could really change my life.

Just after the middle of Sept was the realization that the contract opportunity had a few wrinkles to work out, and my life may not be changed until next year.

Near end of Sept began concepting and prototyping new item for Fan Done: Project TSM (dun dun dun!)

End of Sept was FenCon which was a blast. Met lots of authors, got good info, Jim Butcher is a great guest, and have plans to spend the afternoon with Lee Martindale in December which is very exciting. Unpublished authors need to spending time picking the brains of published authors - just be sure to pay for their food and drink. ;)
